Current learning facilitation

Single units of learning are available for students in all stages of learning; Early Stage 1, Stage 1 (Year 1 & 2), Stage 2 (Year 3 & 4) and Stage 3 (Year 5 & 6). Students can engage with these units of learning remotely at home. Both digital and non-digital platforms are available from the school front office or can be downloaded each week. Digital copies of the units of learning can be downloaded via the School eNews App (under the appropriate Year level) or on our website on the newsletter page. Scroll to the bottom and click on the appropriate year level and look for "Week ..."

Please contact our school via our email if you would like assistance or if you would like to discuss any of these options.

Google Classrooms

At Kiama Public School our stage 2 and stage 3 students will be utilising Google Classrooms. Students can access this platform through their Department of Education student portal.

Please refer to the Google Classroom Student Expectations Policy

Class Dojo

To support remote learning, our K-2 classes are utilising Class Dojo. Class Dojo is a platform that parents can access information from the classroom teacher about how to facilitate the unit of learning from home.

K-2 students can also access online readers through the PM eCollection.

Each students has their own log in details from their class teacher. Once signed in, tap or click a book to open it in preview mode and start reading. For iPad users, you have the option to download the book so you are able to access the books offline - this is recommended.

We're keeping students learning both in and out of the classroom.

Learning from home without technology

We understand some students do not have access to a device or internet for online learning. Contact the school to discuss non-digital learning from home options for your child.
